We are a family-owned company based in West Seneca, NY. Our territory
includes all of Western New York & extends to Batavia, Rochester, Dunkirk
and even Erie, PA. Our inspections are honest, comprehensive, and very
detailed. Your home will be evaluated by an accredited Building
Analyst Professional that has been trained in building science technology in
the whole-house performance based approach. After our inspection, you receive a report that describes
the interior & exterior of your home. We highlight areas of concern &
suggest ways to help you conserve energy. In addition, we can also
test your home for environmental hazards that could affect the health of
your family. |

Roof Inspections
-
Crown Home Inspection, Inc. will
inspect your roof and provide its approximate age & life expectancy. We
will alert you to any possible trouble spots and assess the condition of the
roofing materials.

Exterior Inspection
-
Inspectors at Crown Home Inspection, Inc. will examine the
exterior of the home, paying close attention to runoff & landscape drainage.
We will note the quality of the soil, and the condition of the stoops, steps, driveway,
and sidewalks. You will be advised of any necessary safety repairs or
drainage problems.

Interior Inspection
- Walls, floors, and ceilings will be
inspected for water penetration and/or damage. Your Crown Home
Inspection, Inc. inspector will
also point out potentially dangerous or toxic materials, unsanitary
conditions, fire hazards, or security problems. Ventilation and energy
conservation are also addressed as a part of the interior inspection. The
ages, energy efficiency, & life expectancy of major appliances will be
estimated.

Electrical Inspection
-
The capacity & safety of your
electrical system will be determined and necessary repairs or upgrades
suggested. Our inspectors will also discuss the home's energy
efficiency based on their findings. Crown Home Inspection, Inc. is a
green company and we make every effort to help
you conserve energy.

Heating & Air
Conditioning
Inspection

Heating & air conditioning units are
tested for freeze vulnerability, capacity, efficiency, approximate life
span, and safety. Potential safety issues will be addressed and
necessary repairs suggested. Crown Home Inspection, Inc. will also
recommend ways for you to run these systems more economically and energy
efficient. Our inspectors are accredited Building Analyst
Professionals and can recognize heating, cooling and air leakage problems
that lead to increased energy costs.

materials, & framing will be assessed and potential problems highlighted.
Building Analyst Professional accreditation has given us a background in
building science technology that allows us to understand building
performance problems.

Inspection

Pipes, fixtures,
washers, dryers, & hot water heaters will be inspected for damage and

inspection.

will be examined for water damage, proper structure, and adequate

Environmental Hazards

Jeff Pittner, of Crown
Home Inspection, Inc., is an environmental engineer and is highly qualified
to test the water, soil, and air surrounding your home. He can detect
environmental hazards such as lead, asbestos, carbon monoxide, mold, &
radon. If hazards are discovered, Jeff will guide you to find the
appropriate agencies and procedures to help you clean them up.
